About Me

Rachel O'Brennan, is a photographer and creativity specialist, living within the South Downs National Park in East Sussex.

Alongside her own varied photography work & tuition, she loves to collaborate with other artists of all genres, hosting immersive experiences and creative retreats together.

She can often be found hanging out under waterfalls, amid Downland wildflowers or on one of her regular guided walks out to the Beachy Head Lighthouse. Rachel is always curious to explore new perspectives in her photography and tell the stories of people & places that are deeper than what is externally seen.

Rachel is currently working with South Downs National Park & National Trust as a community artist in the Changing Chalk project; engaging local people with the landscape through photography, creativity and mindfulness practices. She has recently photographed a documentary-style installation as part of Brighton Open Houses and taught photography as advocacy for nature, to young people at Lewes Railway Land Nature Reserve. She is delighted to have photographed for the Female Heroes installation at The Stables Theatre in Hastings.
